When doing a portal search, results display the actual token.

For instance:

In an html/text module I have token replacements for portalname, and the tokens properly display.

When doing a search, the results do not recognize the token and there is no replacement when displayed.

I'm currently using 4.8.2 in a dev environment and no live site. I attempted to log this into gemini but was unsuccessful and I've also searched gemini for this issue but couldn't find it. Anyone else have this problem? Or has this been resolved in later releases?

this is actually by design, since tokens may contain user tokens replaced by properties of the currently viewing user, which cannot be replaced when indexing the module. you can enhance iSearcheable implementation of the Text/HTML module to replace non-user related tags, I haven't implemented this in the default yet and will need to judge performance effects first. Please enter your enhancement request into the public issue tracker (second from top) at support.dotnetnuke.com), it will get validated and moved by the QA team.
