Hi, hi,

for a DotNetNuke install of us, our logfile shows that there is a problem. The message below occurs appr. 200 times a day. Each 20 minutes the shared hosting server shuts down DNN. After starting the application again, the message occurs. What can I do? The message shows it's an empty string.

I hope someone has a clue

Cheers,

Ivo Schoutsen

Hey Ivo,

Its been awhile since I've looked at this issue - but I seem to remember that if a module does not have a business controller class defined that DNN will keep trying to create an instance of it. Judging by the looks of your error message, DNN is trying to create an instance of *something* but can't seem to do so - your issue may be that DNN thinks it can make an instance of a "feature controller" (as we call them at Engage) but is not able to.

If anyone else has the details to this (or an alternative suggestion) please feel free to share, if not, I'll ask tomorrow at work - like I said, it's been awhile since i've dealt with that issue.

Take care,

Ian
