I'm having an odd problem on my live site (development site on local computer works fine) where the skin is sometimes not displayed.

I've developed a simple reporting module for my application using devExpress' xtraReports tool, with a dropdown list of reports to select from.  The page loads fine and I can run any selected report for the first two times just fine, but on the third and subsequent reports the page shows without the skin applied.  It's always the third time, and it doesn't matter which report is shown in which order.  The skin will re-display if I navigate to another page or reload the reports page by clicking the breadcrumb, but not from a page reload by the browser toolbar or F5 key.

I don't know where to begin on this one - any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Are there any error messages in the Event Log/Log Viewer under the Admin menu?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your input - good place to look!   There were plenty of EventLog messages, but none apparently related to this problem.  Just to be sure I cleared the log, ran through the problem scenario several times, and got no log entries at all.

Still looking...

Marty

Hi again Chris,

Spoke too soon in my last post - is there a delay in posting to the log?  Anyway, I did get several of the same message, pasted below.  Perhaps you can translate for me - what's it mean and where do I look?

Thanks again,  Marty

Usually those errors occur when the application is recycling, is the app_pool restarting constantly?
