Godaddy is currently using DNN 4.8.0.  Apparently the new Module only works with 4.8.4 and above.  There's no simple path to upgrading DNN hosted by Godaddy.  Is the 4.8.4 restriction a hard one or can I modify something to make this work on DNN 4.8.0?  I've been waiting for this day to test this module out for a while! :)

That's not going to happen anytime soon.  So, does this module work with 4.8.0?

I think yes, but it's not sure.  To try it it needs a modification in the manifestfile.  Also no special issues to DNN 4.8.0 will be supported.  The guide is using from DNN 4.8.4 or higher!

You can also do your own upgrade. I have a client who hosts with GoDaddy and I've upgraded his site several times without issue.
