Hello

Can  anyone help m with trackback? I have a Blog module set to

Allow Users to Post comments

Allow annonymous users to post comments

Allow Trackback Comments

Send email notification after comments and Trackbacks are posted.

I added a link to another bolg in my post and enetred the Trackback URL of that post in the

Trackback URL text box at the bottom .

I updated the entry . The trackback was not posted on the linked blog.

What else can I do? Is there a way to test incoming trackback? I don't know anyone else with a blog who can help test it.

Thanks

Hi Flomi,

Are the two blogs your posting from and to on the same server?  I've found that Trackback doesn't work for me when this is the case.  I've used my WordPress account to test this feature and then it seems to work fine.

I allow Trackback comments on the demo blog I've configured for testing metaPost.  Feel free to use this to test Trackbacks if you'd like.

HTH,

Don

Oh yes, and I use WordPress for testing and not for my real blogging.  I use the DotNetNuke blog module for all of my real blogs :).
