hello friends

i do know that nothing is impossible with DNN if ready to code,I read a lot about DNN and created modules.

However i am still ignorant and worried about the way the dotnetnuke need to use.

What does a page in dotnetnuke means?

Think i am creating a website..does this means that for every page in that website i need to create a page in dnn(Add new page) and pull down the modules. Is this what we call DNN is exactly?

I believe..more than that..

Creating a page and the modules in that page lets you create another page, its content inside it.(There is no need to create a new page, pull down same modules for every new pages in the website since the rest are same even settings )

Here my intension is to create a portal with 2-5 distinct pages and every distinct pages contain some 10-100 sub pages.I know the categorization and inheriting other pages also available. However how can i avoid selecting these features and makes it default to the inherited ones.

Keep updating the inherited page when the parent page is updated with new modules.

Thx

Expecting a reasonable answer.

There is no real "page" in DNN, DNN always use Default.aspx load skin and modules to form a "page".

You can manually create every page and insert specific modules in it to construct your website, but this way is just suit for small site.

As you say, you have many sub pages need to be created, for this situation, you need to find a module to acchive this. such as News Aritcles
