Hello All,

I've downloaded DotNetNuke a few days ago this thing Rocks!   :)     But, I've been looking all over (web, forums, books, documentation etc.) to try to solve my current problem which is probably something very simple.

I'm trying to customize the event desktopmodule by adding a few new fields to one of the screens.    I added properties  to my EventInfo.vb class to represent the new fields, but when I go to the corresponding ascx.vb, the fields are not showing up in intellisense.   I've re-build the website a few thousand times and triple checked my code.   I even tried to open up the DotNetNuke.Events.sln and attempt to compile this seperately but I can't compile this since it comes up with errors (References probably not setup or something)

(You realize that when you reply to this post you'll here a *Thud* in the distance when I hit myself in the head with my book while saying  "I should have know that!"  ;)

Looking at your problem, i realize that I have 4.8.03 installed.

So I downloaded DotNetNuke_04.08.04_Source.zip and Events_04.00.01_Source.zip. Installed both. I also added  aproperty on the bottom of the EventInfo to see if I can see it in the intellisense. i can't

I compiled the project and run it. It run but compiled with errors using vs2005 on a xp box. I don't think I wanna mess with this until 4.08.05 comes out.

If there are errors, then you wold not get the intellisense.

I have been noticing that every time I build the site the DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.dll located in \Website\Bin directory never gets built.    I even used Reflector to prove that my changes didn't get built into the dll.    I wonder if one of my config files has a setting that prevents these from being built.     I'm going to put on another pot of Columbian coffee and continue to dig.  :)
