Hi,

Anyone knows how can I exclude some items from my root items menu (as a TabID filter)? I have a skin with a Vertical dnnmenu and another (for the same portal) with a Horizontal menu... when I show the horizontal menu, as design restrictions, I want to show only most significant items. Can I do this?

Thanks!

That sounds pretty custom.  I think your best bet would be to create your own navigation provider if you don't mind doing some development.  More information on navigation providers can be found in this document.  Probably the easist approach would be to grab the source dnn package and open up the DNNMenuNavigationProvider project (Library\Providers\NavigationProviders\DNNMenuNavigationProvider\Provider.DNNMenuNavigationProvider.vbproj), and use it as a reference for your new provider.

Thanks Jon... Ok I already has thought about a custom provider and, as you think, it's the only right way... The Easyest way? My first experience said no... but your help gave me some courage to try it... However, first I will try with some custom javascript, trying to hide submenu's html elements...

Thanks!
