I am trying to run a Reporting Services server report through the ReportViewer visualizer but am having some trouble as my Report Server is on a different web server than DNN (I am pretty sure this is the problem because if I install RS on the DNN server it works fine).

In the settings I specified a login that can run the report (tested by running report through Report Manager). The report runs the first time the module loads (I have auto-run enabled in module settings) using the default report parameters. However if the user changes the parameters and clicks View Report the page reloads and the default parameters reappear resulting in the report running again with those parameters. In other words it is not possible for the user to run the report with anything other than the default parameters.

So - does anyone know how to get this working?

Extra questions - does anyone know how to configure a RS report to not run automatically with the default parameters, and to configure the Report Viewer to not reload when the user changes parameters? I would rather the report loaded with the default parameters visible but the report didn't run until the user clicked View Report. Also the reloading of the Report Viewer when the user enters each parameter makes it a bit frustrating to use.

I'm not really sure, unfortunately the Report Viewer Visualizer is very simplistic at the moment.  One quick question, are you pressing the "Run Report" button provided by the Reports module, or is the View Report button one that is provided in the Report Viewer?
