Hi

I am new to dotnet nuke  and unable to proceed with the pdf and the videos

Can anyone please tell me how to cretae a new template other than default.aspx and how to edit the default.aspx

Templates are known as skins.  When you are logged into the DNN site you can download the documentation for DNN which includes information on building skins.   There are literally 100s of tutorials on skin building all over the net.
