Since my email above, I have made the setup pretty simple and standard.

The SSL is now pointing toward the defaultDNN installation: httpS://secure.mojoe.net brings up the default DNN site. Now how can I make all Portals in the DNN installation have an SSL page? I mean, what should be the HostAliases, if any, in the Portals like dev1.AlphaObjects.com ?

Come on! DNN should be able to have easy to understand info on this?!

Thanks

Hello,
Just for clarification, when you mentioned HostAliases, are you referring to the url alias?  If you are, you don't need to add an alias for SSL to work.  Go  to your Site Settings and review the information under Advanced Settings > SSL Settings.  If you are wanting to make a single page on each portal SSL accessible, go into your page settings and check the Secured setting (located under Advanced Settings > Other Settings.  Does this help you out?

Hi,

I think I got it!!! Here is the setup:

1) In IIS, I have a default DNN installation. This is also assigned port 443.

2) The default portal in the DNN installation has a Host Alias of 'secure.mojoe.net'

3) In another portal (dev1.AlphaObjects.com) I have SSL enabled in Admin->Site Settings with both boxes checked and SSL URL to be: secure.mojoe.net/dev1alpha while the Standard URL to be: dev1.alphaobjects.com. Note: In the dev1.AlphaObjects.com I DO have an additional portal alias of secure.mojoe.net/dev1alpha/testsecure page with the SSL showing up fine.

Thanks for you help!

Clicking on a 'Test Secure Page' link (temp link) does direct me to secure.mojoe.net/dev1alpha/
