Hello DotNetNuke friends!

After downloading the installation zip-file and putting the unzipped content into Visual Studio 2008, How do I proceed?

Have you installed SQL Server Express yet? If not, you will need to install that. Make sure to allow user instances when asked, during the install.

Then in Visual Web Developer, Go to File --> New Web Site... and select a new "DotNetNuke Web Application Framework". Press Ctrl+F5 and your page should run. After the page runs, make sure to use the Auto install.

Take a look here and start your journey with DNN.. The tutorials/videos might be slightly out of date as DNN keeps updating itself frequently but you should get the basics to get your feet wet with DotNetNuke without any problems.
