Howdy,

The question came up about crediting DNN since it is an open source application. Does DNN have to be credited on a website you develop? Example: "powered by DotNetNuke" ?

Thanks,
Dd - http://www.fdwsnetworks.com

you do not have to credit DotNetNuke, but mention it is appreciated, see Programs > Link Exchange in the site menu above.

Ddraig,

No you do not need to credit DotNetNuke as being the technology used to create the website.  But if the term "dnn" or "dotnetnuke" is anywhere one the page you are required to have the "registered" symbol the first place "dotnetnuke" appears as well as trademark attribution to the terms "dotnetnuke" and "dnn" at the bottom of any page where those terms appear.  A little complicated but we all want everyone to know the great framework we are all using!
