Hello guys,

I am designing a chat application using DNN. This is a chat application which integrates the Open discussion (where evry one can chat with all the prople online) and the instant messenger (one - one chat). This module will have a user online panel and each user is a "hyperlink". If anu user clicks on the hyperink (the user he wants to chat with) a pop-up window should be popped so that they can chat. The design of this pop-up window is done. But, it does not have the default DNN page template. When included the location of this file in the " tag i am getting a 404 error. I am not able to acces that page becuase of that 404 error.

I am using Javascript to call the window. And is used "window.open". This is the code used.

btnChatNow.OnClientClick = "window.open('ChatWindow.aspx?FromUserId=" + Session("ChatUserID") + "&ToUserId=" + privateMessage.UserID + "&Username=" + privateMessage.User.Username + "&IsReply=yes','','width=400,height=200,scrollbars=no,toolbars=no,titlebar=no,menubar=no'); isLostFocus = 'true';"

How can I call the page/window ? Can anyone help me with this issue. It is kind of urgent. PLEASE.

I assume you mean you're getting a 404 error for ChatWindow.aspx? If so, try putting in the full path to the file, instead of a relative call.

popups are annoying. I would say put it in a module.

If you already have the chat appliction, use the IFreme module.
