Has anyone else run into this?  I have had several users say and this has happened to me as well, firefox's running spellcheck doesn't work when posting thread in the forum module.  It seems to work fine everywhere else.  Any ideas?

John,

This is an issue with the FCK editor that is used for posting the forums.  If you switch to Source view the FireFox spell checker will actually check the contents.  However, this is a known issue for all instances where FCK is used.

I believe the next release of the fckeditor uses a version that works correctly - see http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/807 for the setting. This will be available in 4.9 and 5.0.
