I'm trying to test out the Email Monitor, and have run into a roadblock here. I'm using a Gmail account (I've enabled POP already, it is working correctly) as the account to be monitored. I've set up the Email Monitor settings correctly (to my knowledge). When I go to the history for this in the scheduler, this is what I get, along with "False" in the "Succeeded" column:

Onyak.SigmaPro.EmailViewer.Scheduler,Onyak.SigmaPro.EmailViewer

EXCEPTION: aspNetPOP3.POP3ConnectionException: Unable to contact the POP3 server, or an invalid response was recieved. The underlying exception reported: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. at aspNetPOP3.POP3.ᐇ(String , Int32 ) at aspNetPOP3.POP3.Connect(String username, String password, String server) at aspNetPOP3.POP3.Connect() at Onyak.SigmaPro.EmailViewer.Scheduler.DoWork()

I have no idea what this means. Anyone? Thanks a bunch in advance.

UPDATE: Ok, so I've tried a bunch of other pop email accounts, and it worked with gawab.com once. When I began to add other emails (all of which failed) to monitor, it still retrieved from gawab. I went to delete the non-working ones, and when I checked the schedule history, it shows the following:

Description Duration (seconds) Succeeded Start/End/Next Start
Onyak.SigmaPro.EmailViewer.Scheduler,Onyak.SigmaPro.EmailViewer
1575.2030869 False S: 8/25/2008 3:29:32 PM
E: 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM
N: 8/25/2008 3:55:47 PM

How does this happen, with all other settings held the same? Whenever I refresh, the duration counter increases, like it's just counting up. Ideas?

The duration counter will never stop until the event stops "naturally" (with a success, or with a "logged" failure).  Basically it doesn't think it has ended because an unhandled exception has occurred and caused it to jump out of the process; it will continue to increment that puppy to infinity.  I've had this same problem on some scheduled events before and had to go clear out the schedule history to make it go away (the event itself isn't actually running anymore after the failure, but every time you look it'll recalculate how long it has been "running").
