Good Day,

I am in the process of building a DNN site that is going to be used to send out a high volume of email message throughout the day by various users.  Could you please advise of any best practices to make sure the site is configured for optimal performance.  I would like for the DNN instance to be scalable with it initially having the ability to handle 500,000 emails per hour.

I have been running DNN instances for the last 5 years on a shared hosting environment and have alway been extremely pleased with the performance.  However, this will be the first time working with DNN that requires a highly scalable solution that can handle large loads of out going smtp messages.  All the messages dispatched will be limited to 500 ASCII characters therefore the message size will be very small.

I would like to know if anyone has statistics on how many messages DNN can dispatch per hour along with any suggestions for hosting this type of solution in order to allow for a large volume of messaging.

Thank you very much in advance!

Cheers,

Mark

I would also be interested in hearing what others would say about this topic, but I don't think DNN would handle that type of load???

We however have a online application that would handle that type of load if your not spamming people??
