Hi All

I would like to use DNN to allow customers to set up their own portal with a single code base ala the default installation. One problem I have with how DNN handles this is the fact that DNN only uses a single database partition to store all the data. The implication is that somebody could use the report module for instance to get data from another portal, and that a malfunctioning module could return data from another portal.

In my ideal world, each portal would have it's own DB partition for storing module data. This would nicely seperate out the customer portal data and allow us to provide  direct access to the database. My question is, architecturally, how far aware is DNN from this model and is it a desirable approach in the first place? What do people think?
