Hi there,

for some reason I'm getting the following error trying to run an install of 4.8.4 on the live server:

Server Application Unavailable

The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable.  Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

I set up the same version without any problems on my local machine but trying to install a fresh copy on the live server fails. This is the same hosting company I run all my DNN installs on and never had any problems before. Would anyone know what the issue could be?

If I had any issues with sql2005 would this error show? It seems like the app isin't even trying to run.

Thanks for helping.

A

Ok, nobody panic! It was something to do with the setup of the hosting account. Not sure what. All good now.
