I have installed DNN locally using the instructions at http://www.mitchelsellers.com/blogs/articletype/articleview/articleid/119/installing-dotnetnuke-455-locally.aspx

While doing so, I got inconsistent results. Even with everything properly set up, it would give me the Under Construction page repeatedly when I run the Install.aspx

It is not a database connection problem becasuse it gets to the database and creates the Version table and three Version stored procs.

It doesn't give any error at all, anywhere that I can find.

I eventually solved the problem on my local system by just clearing the database and re-running it. After doing it a few times, it finally took. I repeated the installation procedure and found exactly the same results -- intermittent "Under Construction", finally clearing up for no apparent reason.

Now I am trying to install it for real on a web server and getting the same result -- Version table, three stored procs, and the "Under Construction Page".  This time it doesn't seem to be curing itself.

Does anyone have a clue?  Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005.

Thanks.
