Hi,

Is it possible to hide a field within a template. I dont want to have the ability for the authors name to be changed when adding an item.

Thanks

sure, edit the form.html file for the template you are using and add a style attribute to the TR or TD tag.

example:

' hide a row
<tr style="display: none;">

' or hide a cell
<td style="display: none;">

that will hide the table row. (Honestly, I can't remember off the top of my head if you can hide a table row that way, I think you can, but if not, you can definatley hide the table cells by adding the style attribute to the TD's)
