Google has just released it's new browser - Google Chrome - http://www.google.com/chrome

A number of my clients are on different DNN versions. Here are my findings using Google Chrome to browse/administer these sites.

 DNN 3.1 & 3.2 - Solpart Menu Doesn't Display & FCK Editor Doesn't Display When Editing Text/HTML.

DNN 4.5 & 4.8 - Solpart Menu Displays Correctly. FCK Editor Doesn't Display When Editing Text/HTML.

Clearly the solpart and FCK editor problem is a major issue for earlier versions of DNN.

 Please share your findings.

I have found that FCK editor does not work, Solpart seems to display.  Opera and Safari are not compatible with FCK either, actually only IE and Firefox seem to be friendly with FCK.  I have never had a client complain though, al my Mac guys just go and get Firefox for admin work.

I hear that others are experiencing the exact same issues.  I am not sure of the fix yet, possibly a new version of the FCKEditorProvider will be released at some point in time to release it.  I think the true impacts are a bit hard to judge until all of the development teams get a chance to test it out.

It seems to work fine with the provider 02.00.02.

When can we expect the new provider or is it already available?
