I am so excited that the blog module will finally get support for Windows Live Writer.  This is the single best feature of the new version (IMHO).  Will this new feature be documented when the release is complete?  How to do it, etc.?

Whaaaa?

If you are waiting for WLW support, you should just download the community edition of metaPost from http://www.itcrossing.com/
It works great and Don Worthley has been adding numerous features over on it, plus he's a great person to know too!

Antonio-

Thank you for your direct and candid coverage of progress (yes - all of this is significant progress!) on this mod. This type of open, transparent, and direct communication is very much appreciated. You, and the entire team, are rockstars. I'm excited to get my hands on this and promise to put it to good use!

Jeff,

Thanks for you kind words (they are hard to come by) and support.

I am hoping to get this release out real soon.

I am planning to write a blog post about it, with instructions on how to get it setup.

"With greatest respect smithv I find this very strange indeed that this is your first and only post."

With all due respect, what has post count got to do with the fact that the blog module has been "So close can you taste it" since Antonio Chagoury listed it as such on 7/21/2008 at 9:58 PM and seemingly dead since then?

SmithV suggested that he started DNN waaaaay back and now has come to his senses and abandons ship. Leaving his rant for what it is, I think Alex pointed out that it is hard to believe the SmithV user has been around since waaaay back. So either it's someone that just dropped in to troll, or a new useraccount for someone that wishes to rant without being linked to earlier activity here. It doesn't add up. I think that's what the point was.
