<p>Does anyone know if it is possible to redirect a surtain folder or name. E.g. I want to be able to redirect&#160;URL like&#160;this:&#160;&#160;<a href="http://www.xyz.com/abc">www.xyz.com/abc</a>&#160;to some other website e.g. <a href="http://www.microsoft.com">www.microsoft.com</a>.&#160; Thanks, E.</p>

Depending on your hosting environement and level of access, there are various ways to generate these vanity Urls. From IIS, to ISAPI_rewrite, to iFinity Url Master ... all are possible options.

Maybe the easiest way would be to create a child portal with the folder name, this will create a physical folder with a default.aspx file, you can easily modify to forward to your target site.
