I still cannot get this right ?? Are you guys suggesting to edit your project IIS settings in this way?

1. Edit properties in your module project?

2. Web section

3. Use IIS Web server instead of Visual Studio Development Server?

I ran into these problems trying to get the Store module to run under VS 2005.

The three steos you show are most of the solution, but this should not be enough.

The fourth step is the checkbox below the Project URL and is labeled 'Override application root URL'. Once you check the checkbox, you have to fill in the root for DotnetNuke itself. On my system this is http://localhost/DotNetNuke_4. (Its the directory where the install version of DotNetNuke was unzipped.) It's this fourth step that tells VS2005 how to interpret the ~ symbol. If you don't make this entry, I do not see how Visual Studion can find the file.
