Just wondering if this is available in 3.2.2 .  I'd like to have say 20 users writing articles.  5 of them have the ability to immediatly publish the article, whereas the other 15, when they hit submit, a notice would go to a superior.  That person would edit the document then make it viewable?

Help.

There is an articles module that does this as well as a news module.  The articles module in the core projects I think might do what you are thinking about but the one Scott M.  from the core teams does for sure.  Sorry I can't remember how to spell his last name.  :)

If i understand correctly, when you say the Module from Scott M. from the core team, does that mean the one that comes with the Installation?

Essentially, i'm looking around, trying to fdind the differences between 3.2.2 and ver 4, i've yet to find them, but my needs are fairly straightforward.  I need a Publishing Process, an events calendar and the ability to give the various divisions their own sub-sites.  I'm sure both version do the 2 and 3parts, not the first.

Thanx for responding, i'm going to continue poking aroudn the site to see if i can find this Articles module you referred to.

Do you have a link to any of the above mentioned Modules?  Thnx.

Check out Scott McCulloch's Ventrian Systems site... (that is Scott M.)  He has a great News Articles module that does what you want.  You can get it at www.ventrian.com.
