I am trying to port a DNN installation from my development to production server. I'm starting by moving the files to the production server and referencing the old database on the production server. When I navigate to the production server URL, it redirects me to the old dev server installation. I added a a portal alias for the new installation, but it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue.

My portal aliases are:

Dev/DotNetNuke (always goes to this one)

Production/DotNetNuke - ignoring this for some reason.

Dev and production are both Server 2k3 w/ IIS 6, .NET 3.5.

Any idea what's going on?

I would get rid of the portalAlias to the dev server.

Then restart IIS just to be sure.
