I have a customer who wants to have his DNN site (ver 4.8.4 - 300+ pages) as HTML pages !!!! Don't ask why.

Has anybody seen a utility or module that can handle that?

I am looking for the same thing. No luck yet! :-(

I've done it a few times, but its hard work to be honest. I wrote vb to scrape the pages and replace all the navigation links. http://www.sparvagnen.se is an example, they didn't want to pay for asp.net hosting...

I wouldn't want to try it on a 300 page site. Bear in mind that none of the interactive modules will work.

I made a scrape tool for this a while ago

http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=1790

it will save all pages referenced in a portal, and also rewrites the menu ( BUT only when solpart menu is used, or any other module that outputs html )

the new menu doesnt outputs html directly but works with callback calls and i cannot scrape that.  So if you use the new navmenu this tool will not work. A way around it would be to have direct links to all the pages on the homepage and then manually add a menu in all your 300 pages.

I have tested this on sites with like 1000 ventrian articles in and it works ( slowly but still :) - if you use the tool do something else for a while on a new computer
