Ok,

So I did my reading and understand that the problem lies within the DNN core itself, but I can't keep telling my clients that.  They don't care where the problem is, they just want it fixed.  This has been an ongoing issue for as long as I can remember.  Does the DNN core group just not care?  Don't get me wrong, I love DNN ... but there are TONS of smart guys out there that could likely fix this bug ... it IS a bug.

Is there a workaround I can do in the meantime?  Re-Write a stored procedure or something?

Remember, this is not a SLAM against the team, simply a venting (pass on by my clients).  I would love to help if you need me to!

Hi Darren,

Certainly there is code you could change to added specific DST handling for your locations. Equally this could be done on a sproc. The various EventsGet sprocs is a likely place. Maybe by adding a separate table with a set of DST dates, then linking to this in the sprocs and applying the appropriate date changes. Of course you may wish to only apply this to vCal handling, so it may be better to do this in code.

Cheers
Roger
