I need to add records to a table that is not in the main dnn database. Is there a existing module for dnn3 (or 4) that will alow me to do this. We have a multi-site database setup and I need to be able to add records to a simple table in that database from inside of dnn.

Worst case maybe I can write a module to do it.. is there any reason that wouldn't work?

You can write a module to do just about anything you can possibly imagine... there shoud be no technical reason why you couldn't do that.  There MIGHT be some other modules out there that could help you... I've heard about some, but have no direct experience with them.

So far I can't locate anything that does this now. Guess I may be heading into the world of module creation.

If you're looking for a good place to start I would recommend Michael Washington's tutorial here: http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN_Module4/
