First Module here.. wondering how to add, for example, the ajaxcontroltoolkit dll, to my module.. probabaly something to do with the module.dnn file?

Also, is this how I would add a web service reference as well?

Thanks,

Jay

This solves the ajaxtoolkit problem: http://dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNuke/tabid/195/Default.aspx

But I'm still looking to see how best to consume a webservice.

Thanks,

Jay

Basically it looks like I just need to compile the webservice into a dll using wsdl, and reference in the module to consume.

How do I add the reference to my module?

Thanks,

Jay

Ah.. I'm finding more info in the forums now that I've noticed the default search dates are only for 1 month back.

But I'm still unclear about including dll's in a module.  Do I add them to the Bin, import a reference.. and all is good when the Module Package is built?  Do I need to add information about this in the Manifest.dnn file?  Do I need to register the assembly in the ascx file?    This should be a simple technique and the forum posts show a lot of confusion around this but I can't find a clear answer.

Thanks,

Jay
