Hey...at work we use Sharepoint to log transactions of work we do, basically a ticket system.  Can DNN be used like that?  I am going to be working on a VB.NET website project soon and I want to program something so an action from the user end would create a ticket/transaction into sharepoint/dnn so us on the back end would see the request and be able to keep track and search easily.  But I also need the functionality of being able to enter our own tickets in the backend manually and to be able to attach files to the transactions.  Can DNN do this?  Does any body have any good guides/books/websites to help me get started on how I can do this?

Thank you!

Yes, I can say that DNN can do it, you have many options, you could build something yourself or you could look into a module such as ActiveCases by ActiveModules, or SigmaPro by OnyakTech.  There are other ticketing/support systems out there as well.  Snowcovered is a good resource for modules.
