I have DNN installed and running just fine.  But I want to be able to create another part to my website which is a Visual Studio 2008 website and have it available from links in DNN.  I have already done this with one page (www.pchenry.com/Search) but that is one page and very isolated.  So I know I have the aliases setup properly (for the search page at least), but when I goto do the samething for a website I can run within VS08, I get an error message from DNN saying it can't find assemblies.  The webapage is http://www.pchenry.com/mcts/.

I hope this is something I can easily rectify.  I tried playing with a web.config setting (something about code directories) but that didn't help any.  Also, I would like to just drop a directory into my virtual site (yup IIS is configured properly) and have it working (albeit outside of DNN but that's ok for now).

Any ideas on how to make this happen?  Any help would be apprecaited.  Thank you.

if you try to run a page outside the portal, you cannot use any DotNetNuke namespace references.

Thank you for the reply.  The website works perfect from within VS08 and is not referencing any DNN libraries/namespaces/assemblies.  The problem is isolated to loading my assemblies at runtime within DNN.  For example I have one page (www.pchenry.com/search) which has everything on the one page (all the code is in the code behind), but another page (www.pchenry.com/mcts) which has code in different classes which are part of what I deploy to the virtual directory, but DNN can't seem to find them.

Any other ideas?  Thanks.
