Here is the error I am getting...

    Paypal Event Enrollment
Error: Paypal Event Enrollment is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed. ---> System.UriformatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed. at System.Uri.CreateThis(String uri, Boolean dontEscape, UriKind uriKind) at System.Uri.CreateUri(Uri baseUri, String relativeUri, Boolean dontEscape) at System.Uri..ctor(Uri baseUri, String relativeUri) at System.Web.HttpResponse.ConvertToFullyQualifiedRedirectUrlIfRequired(String url) at System.Web.HttpResponse.Redirect(String url, Boolean endResponse) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventPPEnroll.cmdPurchase_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

The Paypal account is active and the username and password are correct in the Events module and the Site. This is the first time I have tried to use this feature so I am sure that there is something wrong with my implementation. Any advice to a novice would be appreciated.

This suggests some sort of problem with your Portal Aliases. What is the domain name you are using, and what aliases do you have on the portal?

Cheers
Roger

My single portal alias is info.powerway.com. My domain name is dnntest.com as listed by my hosting provider Aquest (shown below). The alias is working well in every other respect.

Domain Server Path Urls Delete
dnntest.com jgl2k3web17 d:\hosting\scott\dnn
FTP: ftp://24.199.232.10/dnntestcom
ASP 1.1 Temp: http://temp17asp1.AquestHosting.com/dnntestcom
ASP 2.0 Temp: http://temp17asp2.AquestHosting.com/dnntestcom

This looks like it is taken from your hosting control panel. You need to look in the Host/Portals menu of your DNN site.

Cheers
