This is the way like we do it right now.

Unbeautiful thing behind it: the "news-window" is used normally every second week or so for 2 days for example.
And then i have to change the page Redirect after login everytime.

I will think about another solution, maybe by programming it on my own...

Thanks anyway for your thoughts.

I needed an urgent message for a couple of weeks a while ago and just used a popup from www.freepopupcreator.com and chucked the html in default.aspx.

Allthough i have to change default.aspx, what is possible as the server is physically next to my desk, it is exatly what i looked for. Well, allmost....

The checkbox "Don't show it again" is missing, but maybe i can fake it into the created code and use a cookie....

Use the free WedJet container from R2I.

This turns any module into a pop up floating module. You could then use DNN start and end date display settings. Make sure to find and download the user donated WedJet Flex container which is an auto sizing version. You can can read about it here:
