My client has a login to the dnn site and he has been making some changes. I don't know what he did to it but when I click the login link it goes to a page where there is no login textboxes and there is no way to login to the site.

What do I do?

Most likely someone made a change to the Login page location under Admin > Site Settings.

The only way I know to reset this is to go to the database and open the Portal table and reset the LoginTabId from whatever it is now to NULL.

I've cleared the LoginTabID and that still doesn't bring the login page back.

What can I try now?

I had exactly the same problem, I accidentialy set login to a page without the "account login" module and couldn't log in. I tried change the LoginTabID to null as suggested, but it didn't work either.

After some more searching I found a nice post on how to fix it though, and it worked nicely for me:

"If you have FTP access to your DNN installation there is a very simple thing that you can do. Go into "Portals/_default/Skins" and either rename or delete the directory that contains the skin with the forgotten. Then refresh your browser. The default DNN skin kicks in to take the place of the missing skin that is supposed to be there and voila you have your Login link again."

I just renamed my skin so DNN couldn't find it, refreshed browser (back to blue skin), got the login page, logged in, then renamed the skin back again.

What is the "skin with the forgotten"? I have FTP access to the site, but I just don't understand what that is.
