I have the most exasperating problem... For some reason the search won't work on my website; whenever I try to search for a word, it doesn't go anywhere. I tried creating a page called Search Results and putting a Search Results module on it, but that didn't work. So I tried deleting the Search Results module, with the idea of reinstalling it, hoping it would come back up on the list of uninstalled modules. Unfortunately that wasnt the case. I did create a new module definition for Search Results, hoping that would restore it, and copied the info off another working website. That restored it to my list of available modules, but, guess what? The name was there but not the module!!! I tried to add the module, and nothing happened. A worthless name in my module list! So, if anyone has some ideas for me, I would be very appreciative. I would love to get the search working on my website!

Oh, another idea: could it be a problem with my skin? Because before I deleted the module, it wouldn't work either :(

Do the following to recreate the search results page:

  1. Login as Admin or Host
  2. Navigate to Admin > Recycle Bin
  3. Select "Search Results" from the Pages list box
  4. Click the Restore Selected Page icon Restore Selected Page

That should get you back up and going.
