Is it possible to use Gallery Module with DotNetNuke 4.08.04 using AcuitiDP Oracle Provider?

Thank you.

Current beta and the planned official 4.03.00 release of the Gallery module store image and album meta data in xml files located in each album's folder. The only interaction with the DNN database is by way of standard calls to the core file system. Thus, I would expect but have not verified through testing that the upcoming release would run using AcuitiDP Oracle provider.

However, it is anticipated that future versions of the Gallery module WILL store its meta data in custom tables in the DNN database. There are no current plans to support any data provider other than for SQL Server.

Are these issues related to the problem of being unable to add an existing instance of the Gallery module to a new page? I am very invested in this gallery (hundreds of photos on dozens of pages) and my client has a gallery related to skiing that is only relevant right now and they want to see it up and running but I can't add the current module. Someone (host?) upgraded the site to DNN5.0 and now the gallery doesn't work. I'm a newbie so any help is appreciated!
