 This is a FCKeditor issue (This not an issue in the provider).

Mauricio, that may be true, but how will I (and 600.000 other people using DNN) explain that to my customer.
Yeah, well sorry, go f**k yourself, we've just upgraded your site, and we're not going to fix this issue for you?

How do you think my customers will react to that...

I think it is a stupid response since FCK is a 'part' of DNN, it is a DNN problem, and not a FCK problem.

I understand your frustration, but FCKeditor is made by another group and we only did a wrapper for it to be used in DNN. We cannot control when they release upgrades. Maybe you can help with this posting on the FCKeditor issue tracker at dev.fckeditor.net

There are times when a workaround is easy to setup in the provider, but sometimes not.

Sorry for my stupid answers but FCKeditor is not part of the DNN, the provider is part of the DNN and any bugs in the editor itself will continue there because we don't have control on the editor release process.

I'm not saying you have stupid answers, and really really appreciate your work by the way....
Ive been using FCK since you first published it on your own site, and I like it a lot.
Although I get frustrated sometimes by some issues which are still in there...

Removing the Entermode line at least solves the <p>#160;</p> issue, so that is very nice.

The only problem is that it will give you a javascript error in IE when working with FCK: 'FCKConfig.Entermode' is empty or no object.

When I tried this fix I could not post anything in the blog module.  I enter some text, update, and the page is blank.  (Using IE, didn't try it in Firefox)  The blog entry is created with just the title and all other fields blank.  I'm trying to get it not to put the "Read more..." link when the summary is blank.  I had it working in 4.8 but it broke in 4.9 cause of the editor.  Is there any other way to stop the <p>&#160;</p> from being inserted automatically?
