Hello,

I'm trying to configure the credit card form (from Store module) to submit securely (SSL). I tried checking the "Redirect Credit Card Data form to SSL (https)?" and it does exactly what it says: When I click on the credit card section it goes to https://www.mysite.com

The problem is I am using a shared SSL, meaning I need it to Redirect Credit Card Data form to... https://securehost.com/mysite-com

Anyone know how this can be done?

You will need to develop a custom solution for this since the core store does not support this, or at least not at present.

If you need to find a developer to do this for you I would suggest going to http://www.dnnguru.com/ (A DNN Freelancer Community) where you can post a request for proposal.  There is no fee charged to post a project on DNNGuru.com and you will have many DNN developers contact with quotes you to choose from.

If you plan to pay a developer to add this functionality and are willing to offer the changes freely to the DNN Store Project (so everyone can benifit from the addition), then you can contact me and I will work with you to get a developer on this project at a much discounted rate. robertc [@] dnnguru [.com]

What about the SSL Redirect: http://www.sanibellogic.com/SL/Common/Products.aspx?Cat=ASP.NET&PLong=00401

Would that work to redirect secured information to https://securehost.com/mysite-com instead of https://www.mysite.com?

If there's a module that someone has made (such as SSL Redirect or SSL Module) then I would prefer to use those than have someone develop a solution specifically for this.

I'm assuming having someone develop something like that would be fairly expensive. If it is the only way to fix this problem then I would like to get a quote and would be willing to offer the changes freely to the DNN Store Project.

DNN supports the ability to have a given page switch to SSL and thus you could set the page to be SSL and then set the page to redirect to another URL; however that is not going to work for doing credit cards in the store for many reasons.  First off the Cart does not redirect to a different page when going from cart to payment.  Also if you leave the site, how does the store know if the payment was successful if it is processed elsewhere?

My suggestion would be to build a gateway plug-in that works similar to the PayPal gateway accept it redirects to a specified URL (including the https://) and passes the parameters expected by the remote gateway.  Then have a return page that accepts the callback from the remote server so you know if the sale was a success or not.

If you are willing to donate the finished gateway to the DNN Store Project free of charge etc, I am willing to have one of our developers work with you to develop the gateway at a much reduced rate/fee.  You can contact me at robertc@brisingergroup.com
