Hi,

ON DNN 4.9 Scheduled tasks 'overdue' and freeze? (scheduler on "request mode")

Someone noticed if this happens in your 4.9 installations ?

I don't know if happens in "blank" installations, but for me is happening in many upgraded sites

Tks

Hi,

I'm the only with 'weird' scheduler issues since upgraded to 4.9? :(

On 'timer' more worked better, but now has the same problem.

the scheduler simply stop working. The site has steady traffic (the application pool is not stopped)

Yes, caching has stopped working and my UsersOnline says it's working but is not since my 4.9.0 upgrade yesterday. So your Scheduled Tasks succeed? Mine do, but there is deifnitely something not right with them...

I am having this issue too.  I notice that the tasks do not execute, they become overdue and just sit there.  I have to shutoff the scheduled item, update, turn it back on, and update again.  When I did it today I had 9 emails send the first time, 4 the second time, then 1, then 1 more. Finally the queue seems to be empty and the emails are sent (forum module related mails).

Help please.  I need my site to send consistent emails. This seems like a total scheduler issue.

I am running DNN 4.9 and running scheduler in request mode.

Here is what my scheduler status page looks like:
