I followed the set of instructions I found on this forum, but I still do not have the custom styles I intended to add.  If anyone as any suggestions, please advise.

Hi

We need a little more information on this one but if you want to style your skin then the CSS styles you have created need to go in the skin.css in your portals/skins/yourskin folder.   All styles applied to the skin will overwrite any other styles applied in any other css style sheet.

If you use Firefox then download the extension "Firebug" you can then roll your mouse over the offending element on you skin and it will tell where the style is and what stlesheet it is in.  However allways use your skin.css stylesheet to change elements on the page
