Hello, I have installed DotNetNuke_04.08.04_StarterKit.vsi on my local development machine.  Everytime I try to create a new website in VS 2005 SP1 I receive a semmingly endless list of template errors stating that a file cannot be found.

I am working on XP Pro SP3.  My Visual Studio 2005/Templates/ProjectTemplates/Visual Web Developer/ folder contains one file named DotNetNuke.zip  (I am assuming this is the template for the DotNetNuke Web Application Framework projected listed under the My Templates section of  VS 2005 File->New->Web Site).

I'd really like to get the started kits to work, Have I installed the starter kit incorrectly somehow?  Is there a dependency that I am missing?  Any help/suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Sounds like permission or pathing errors.  But you don't tell us what the errors are...

Hi Jeff, the errors that I am getting are:

"Project Template Wizard

The file fck_document_preview.html could not be found within the project templates.  Continuing to run, but the resulting project may not build properly."

This is only one of a whole bunch of errors that are displayed in a modal dialog.  The only difference between the rest of the errors and the one listed above is the name of the file that cannot be found.

I searched for the missing file in the DotNetNuke.zip file and it does exist so I'm not sure why the Project Template Wizard can't find the file.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions.  I'm trying to work through the module development examples in the book Professional DotNetNuke 4 and this has me stumped.
