Hi,

I'm in the process of creating a customized user registration form for my site using the "Dynamic Registration" module from DataSpring. I would like to populate "State" (or Province) and "Country" combo boxes using relevant data (hopefully) already present somewhere in the DNN database.

A sample SQL query was provided in the "Dynamic Registration" module which I modified to match my actual column name (select Text as dnn_DynamicRegistration_QuestionOption from Lists where ListName= 'Region'). When executed, I get an error saying "Invalid object name 'Lists'".

1. Is there such data present in DNN? If so, where is it?

2. If no, any good tips on how to add it?

This is probably an "easy" thing to address but I need some assistance.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Lists is a valid table.  Your problem is "Text" is a reserved word in SQL.  You need to put it in brackets.  Try this...

SELECT [Text] AS dnn_DynamicRegistration_QuestionOption
FROM Lists
WHERE ListName = 'Region'

Hi,

Thanks for the input. I painfully discovered that I had left out the prefix "dnn_" in front of Lists. Query now works but having issues with the module not populating combo box with query results.

Thanks again!
