DotNetNuke Error: - Version 04.05.03

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.)

any help on this would be great

You didn't configure your database or connection string properly.

If it's been working and you didn't change the connection string or database properties, make sure the database is running.  Make sure the database didn't get detached or otherwise lost/corrupted.  Make sure you didn't run out of room.  Event logs would help track this down.
