Dear all,

I installed the Repository module and it is a real cool thing for the project I'am working on. I was just wondering, if the Upload/Download ratio (see pic: www.geocities.com/bourreti/libray1.jpg) might be possible in any way, this would be really helpfull for document sharing portals (to have them working acutally), like this library project intends to do. Would be great if there is any solution for this.

Another thing, I try to insert a pretty long title in the title when uploading, the problem is, that the size there is limited to just a few words, the only way to display the full title is enterprisemanager and edit the table accordingly, any solution to do this in the nuke?

THANKS!!!

Tom

I've added your ratio request to Gemini (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=22&i=2658). As for the Title..... How many max characters are you thinking you'd need? By default the length of the Name (Title) field is 50 characters. I don't think there's any limitations on the text field in the actual Repository code so what you could do in the meantime is adjust the nvarchar lenght on the grmRepositoryObjects table and on the grmAddRepositoryObject and grmUpdateRepositoryObject stored procedures. I think that's all that you'd have to change. Make sure you backup your database before attempting changes just in case.

I would need a max. of perhaps 500, just to make sure, 100 to 200 will be the normal thing (I tried it with just updating the table accordingly in Enterprisemanager and it worked fine). I tried your suggestions, setting them all to 100 for the beginning, but it still only shows 50 characters. any further suggestions?

Tom

I should have some time to do some testing tonight so I'll see what I can find out then.
