Hi,

I have been searching for post regarding Community Server integration with DotNetNuke. Basically i need to integrate both platform together to achieve single log in. I heard that it can be done. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Best Regards,
weihann.

Take a look at ICG's custom authentication provider.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the reply. You meant write our own (or purchase) login module for the integration rather than having some plugin for the integration?

Another issue will be how the other module can address to the security or authorisation issue? For example, i want to give only certain user to access to Forum, Blog at Community Server and certain module at DNN platform such as calendar. Do i need to customise those module as well? As in next time if i add another module at DNN/Community Server, i will need to do customisation at the security level rather than just add the module as per normal?

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Weihann.

Another thing, i want to be able to search into both platform (DNN and CS) using single search function. Is it possible?
