Hi,

I am currently using DNN 4.9 version and I couldn't find a way to enable LiveID and OpendID authentication like I used to in DNN 4.8 version. I have downloaded LiveID and OpenID modules separately and tried to install them but without any success, any thoughts or help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for your response. I tried the suggestions posted in links provided by you. Looks like my problem is slightly different than those were discussed in those posts. Not quite sure but my guess.

Here is the exact error message I am getting when I am tryin to install the provider;

A critical error has occurred. Could not find file 'd:\hosting\member\deals2scan\Portals\_default\Temp\04cnpinn\LiveID_Source.dnn'

I gave full permission for both IUSER and also for NetworkService. But still it doesn't seem to resolve the problem.

Any other thoughts or pointers would be highly appreciated. Mine is a clean installation of DNN 4.9.

Here are the details;

1. DNN Version 4.9

2. LiveID version -> LiveID_01.00.00_Source ( I tried the install version as well. But the error remains the same)

Note: The same proble persists when I try to install OpenID module (OpenID_01.00.00_Source. I tried Install version as well but the result was same)

Please let me know if you need any further information on this.
