I want to change the default home page to a different page.

I have made the previous home page only accessible by administrators, and have set my new home page as accessible by everyone.

However this has only resulted in the default page asking the visitor to sign in.

What I want is to be able to specify the new page I have created (on the "home" tab) as the default home page.

How do I do this?

So far I have been told the only way is to do this:

Hello,
Make a index.HTML page outside of DNN. Then change the default doc in the website settings to be index.html. We do not know of a way to do anything for it in DNN. You might find a module that does that looking online.
Thank You,

Is there really no way to tell DNN what the default home page is? I would have thought that there would be a property to set somewhere.

Thanks

You can set the home tab under Admin->Site Settings.
