Not looking to ruffle any feathers here, but I would also really like an anon posting feature.  Here's why...

My DNN site (http://www.bowlofcerealproductions.com) houses my home-made indy comedy shorts and I am always struggling to get feedback on my movies.  Because users have to go through a tedious registration process in order to voice any feedback, most users just glance at the movies and leave.

I would love to be able to have just 1 of my forums ( there are over 10 ) to be available to all to post.

Jarrette - I just took a look at your site and forum. I notice that in your forum you ask people to rate and criticize your movies.

An idea: Create one page per movie. On that movie put an article module, survey module, and the movie. The article module allows comments without registration as does the survey module.

You could also approach this through the blog module. Write a blog about each movie having the appropriate links to the movie and survey module for the movie. The blogs allow moderated/unmoderated comments.

hmm very good ideas, I must just have to try that, thnks!

One thing though, I like my movies being centralized on one page, I guess I should just make the thumnails of the movies links to their own respective pages?

Good idea - the possibilites are unlimited. Remember that your movies, text, surveys, blogs etc. are just data stored on the server or in the DB. You can then give many different views "into" that data depending on what users want. (I'm being slightly abstract here and it's not as easy as I make it sound but I'm sure you get the idea.) Repost here once you've made the changes so we can see what you've done. Good luck.
